The sound of silence

I haven't updated much, since I haven't actually wanted to say anything. Usually, I am all flab and no substance, but I find myself wanting to only say things that matter. That leads to a lot of dead space between me and the rest of the world.

Have you ever been on the verge of understanding something, but was distracted before you got to the ephiphany part of things? That is how my life is these days. Everything feels like an interruption. It isn't a bad thing, though.

I have spent a lot of time watching tv via Netflix. You know, when I am not cleaning.

This weekend has been all about the nephews. I saw Seth on Friday. Phoenix came by on Saturday. Sunday was Garrett's fourth birthday. Today started another nephew-centric week with an all day Seth-a-thon. In fact, I still have that hypnotic aroma of spit up and puffs on my shirt. Yum.

Tomorrow Seth will be back, with his mother. And I will be forced to choose between a clean house, or socializing. I know what I will do (socialize) but I also know that I will resent the time not put in to the house.

I bet you didn't know that a housewife with no kids could actually be busy all day, did ya? Well, if you do it like an OCD freak, you can.
