Buy like a bee (does that make me a drone, or the Queen?)

Life has been a series of completed tasks, but I've been brilliant enough to make social time, too. Go me.

My dad and his wife (and their dog) will be heading this way this weekend, so I'm making the extra effort to gussy up the house before they get here. I've scheduled my day pretty tightly the last few months, but I'm cutting some of my down time so that I can get a little more out of my day. My planner is chocked-full of little alerts to help keep me on task. I refuse to get overwhelmed by it. I'm tired of stressing over things I can't change.

Over the weekend I spent the day with a friend. We chatted and crocheted. We even went shopping! I picked up a much needed bra. I know, I know, how practical, but damn if it didn't do wonders for my self-esteem. Breastfeeding two kids has really done a number on my boobs and I LOVE having them back where they're supposed to be. Well, and I've lost a bit of weight and my old bras weren't fitting anymore.

And, now you know too much about my breasts. Ha.

In addition to all of the housecleaning I will be doing this week, I've also made plans to visit with one of my sister-in-law's (Elizabeth), Jenn and I'm to go out with Charlotte on Thursday. The next few days will be a blur of activity.

I'm so excited.

Just ask me if I'm still excited at the end of the day when I'm barely moving and  trying to Paper, Rock, Scissors Adam into doing stuff for me.
