Renewal

Finally, finally, we've started to heal. It's been miserable around here for ages because of our shared colds. We've been lucky to get the basics done as of late, but I can feel the energy changing. There's promise in the air.

I'm looking forward to the rush of achievement and brilliance that is sure to come.

Now that I'm not swimming in germs I'm looking around, wishing I could scrub the house, rearrange things; give the house a new life. I'm going to chip away at the chores this week, my little duck following behind me.

Ah, my little duck. She's wonderful. The last two weeks had been a mess of yelling and boogers and general unpleasantness that I'd almost forgotten how fantastic Nora really is on an average day. I love her laughter, and her spirit and it's so good to see it again.
