It's a viable plan

Remember me whining about my friends being too busy for me and I was all, "What am I going to do?"

Well, big shock, they're all still too busy because they have lives and jobs and cars and partners who do things outside the home, BUT! I'm filling in all of the gaps with stuff here.

Adam was super helpful this weekend. We bought some flowers and seeds and soil and, as a family, we plotted out our little patch of garden. I have actually things in the dirt. See? Sure, it doesn't look like much, but I also placed more flower seeds in among the cucumber plants and the peppers, both bell and jalapeno; around the cilantro, chives and tomatoes....

Sunday I also planted seeds in my flower pots. They mostly grow whatever blows in there. We used to plant our veggies in there, but not now! I'm looking forward to them blooming. I hope they grow and bloom.

Once the seedlings come up in the garden I'll transplant them in a more cohesive fashion, but I like the idea of putting things in the ground and seeing what grows.

Way back when I was trying to get pregnant, I meditated upon fertility and the Goddess and she told me to get my hands dirty. I bought an orchid in her honor and nursed it. I wanted to foster life, so I did and I was rewarded with life inside of me.

When I became pregnant I told the Goddess I would be true to the gift she gave me and I would let her lead me in the pursuit of beauty and nature. I told her I would make flowers bloom as tribute.

I'm making good on that promise.

Yay! I'm glad it spoke to you. Lately life and growth have been resonating through me, as long as I ignore the occasional visit to Icky Brain-land.
