Just Cut It Already!

Mazzy started teething about a month ago. She started slow with a little extra drool, then moving up to gnawing on her hands. Recently she has expanding to the oh-so-fun habit of gumming anything she can get her hands on. My best decision, so far, has been to put her in dresses so that she can lift them up and chew on them. She gets so frustrated when she can't put her onesie in her mouth. Frustration results in screaming.

The last couple of days the teething has escalated to full-on crankiness and the appearance of some serious teeth buds. As in more than one. Multiple teeth. Are we clear? Right.

Unfortunately, I am being told that it might still take another week for any of those teeth to break the surface. I don't know how accurate that information is, seeing as it came from my mom, but at this point I am willing to believe anything. Even if it is information that makes me want to weep.

All of this massive cranky teething business has resulted in me having to entertain my very vocal child nearly constantly. At least she is cute when she screams.
