Sucker

It is almost embarrassing with how quickly I have reformed in to a Mom cliché. Honestly, it happened so quietly that I didn’t notice until this morning when some stupid juice commercial made me cry. It was cultivated to hit right in the Mom spot and I fell for it. What a sap.

I can hear all of the phrases I hated rattling around in my head.

“I am falling in love with her more every day.”

“I can’t imagine a world without her in it.”

“I didn’t understand love until I had my daughter.”

Pathetic, right? I don’t mind, though. I wouldn’t trade any of this boring, messy, BS for anything else in the world. Now, if I could just shake the feeling that it will all vanish I would be great.
